All racking being used is required to have a load notice at the entry point, visable to all personnel.
These notices are used to indicate the maximum (UDL) Universal Distributed Load for each level the pallet racking, and display health and safety warnings.
Note: These loading notices are A3 as standard, but can be easily printed in other sizes.
Safety warnings include:
- How to use/not use
- Safe Working Load (Max. capacity of weight)
- Health and Safety
- Section for "Racking last inspected by" with date
- Reminder to distribute loads evenly
- Prevent racking collapses

If you do not know the Safe Working Load of the racking, get in contact with your nearest pallet racking inspection service.
Notices can be downloaded 3 times, we advise backing up the file on a company server to avoid losing access to PDF.
